Welcome to Sunset Crest! We offer one bedroom apartments and two & three bedroom villas. We are located in the Sunset Crest resort complex in the heart of Holetown, Barbados. Sunset Crest offers affordable accommodations in a unique resort complex that is spread over 130 acres. All units are within walking distance to the beach and private community pool, as well as numerous shops, bars, restaurants, banks and a dive shop.

While the prices at most of Barbados’ West Coast Hotels may make them the preserve of the rich and famous, their near-neighbour, Sunset Crest, offers much more budget friendly rental rates. Our rates are some of the least expensive on the Island.  The total cost of your accommodation at Sunset Crest could be less than just the tax and gratuities at a neighbouring hotel!

We offer 2 and 3 bedroom detached villas (small houses) with grounds of 8,000 to 10,000 square feet.  The villas include living/dining room, two bathrooms, kitchen and patio.

Kitchen facilities are equipped to prepare small meals with stove/oven and refrigerator to facilitate the cooking and storage of food items.  Kitchens are also equipped with a microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffeemaker. Cable TV with DVD player, iron and ironing board are provided. Ceiling and or standing fans provide additional ventilation. Plus, villas have in-room electronic safes which are available for rental.

Daily maid service and periodic linen and bath towel changes are provided.  (See Guest Info for details.)

All units have telephones and there is no charge for local calls.  Overseas calls must be placed from the reception office unless being made “collect”.

Additionally, each bedroom is fitted with individual air-conditioning units that are token operated.  (See Guest Info for details.)

Special Features:  This villa has an extended enclosed patio with a small gas grill.  Two of the bedrooms have a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a queen size futon.  This villa has a small stereo and high speed internet.

Owner’s description:  Villa Valeda, well-furnished 3-bedroom, 2 bath villa on a roomy, landscaped lot has a large L-shaped porch, ideal for entertaining; all bedrooms are air conditioned, master bedroom is en-suite; fully furnished kitchen with all appliances; cable tv, internet access included.  All rooms, including the kitchen, have ceiling fans and mosquito screens.  This villa is very close to the public bus stop, bank and a shopping center.

Owner’s description:  ‘Molly’s’ (Villa 160), Casuarina Row, is a three bedroom, two-bathroom bungalow on a spacious secure lot in a neighborhood cul-de-sac (great for children). It is just a few minutes walk from Holetown amenities and beaches. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third has twin beds. All are air-conditioned . There is a dining-sitting room and a veranda. The full kitchen has microwave and a laundry machine. Both cable TV and internet are included. The spacious patio and lawn are great for outside living and entertaining or sunbathing.

We offer bungalow-type, one bedroom apartments (approx. 550 square feet) with living/dining room, bathroom, kitchenette and patio. The apartments are predominantly ground level, in rows of three, four or six sharing a common garden. All units have a secure patio.

All apartments have kitchen facilities (typically open kitchen plan) equipped to prepare small meals and store food and offer oven with stove, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffeemaker.  Cable TV with DVD player, iron and ironing board are provided.  Plus, units have in-room electronic safes which are available for rental.  Ceiling and or standing fans provide additional ventilation.

Golden Anchorage Apartments

These units are located along Flamboyant and Cordia Avenues on spacious lots in blocks of three and four.  They are only a two-three minute walk from the closest entrance to the beach and the beach club.  The bus stop is a three-four minute walk.

Special Feature:  Wifi is available in these units (payable locally).

Special Features:  This apartment is an end unit.  It has an extra large window that opens in the living room area and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom.  The kitchen has Decoran solid surface counter-tops with a flat ceramic top stove and built in oven.  The living room has two comfortable sofas that can be used for additional sleeping accommodations.   There is a new 32″ flat screen LCD TV with cable coverage of US, British and Canadian channels.

Special Feature:  This apartment is an end unit and is a little closer to the Beach Club and supermarket as well as the local bus service.

Guests have access to The Beach House swimming pool.  It is within walking distance and is situated right on the beach.

The pool has a plentiful amount of lounge chairs, changing rooms, an exterior shower next to immediate access to the boardwalk and beach.

A new addition to the beaches of Barbados is the Barbados West Coast Boardwalk.  Completed in December 2009, it is an expansive boardwalk that allows beach goers to easily walk up and down the coast line.  It spans roughly 500 meters.  The southern tip is in Beachlands and the northern tip ends before Zaccios Restaurant.
